IAB: Internet Advertising Reaches A Record $15 Billion. That's Billion. With a "B".
The online marketing world is seriously heating up. TechCrunch reports on IAB numbers showing Internet advertising reached a record $15B In first half of 2011, up 23 percent from 2010. As the article notes,
“Search and Display each grew about 27 percent year-over-year, with Search more than doubling its previous year’s growth rate of 11.6 percent.”
I’m a big “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” kind of guy. At the same time, when the whole world zigs, is there an opportunity to zag?
