A quick look at Google+ (Small Business E-commerce Link Digest – March 16, 2012)
Not a lot of fluff this week. Just a bunch of links about Google+ and the social/mobile web.
- Leading off, Om Malik makes a great point about Google+, noting “no one needs it but Google.” Of course, because Google has put so much emphasis on the social service, it’s become something you need whether you want it or not.
- Despite this — or maybe because of it — Social Media Examiner, um, examines why major marketers are moving to Google+.
- And while we’re talking about the Big G, Google reports the mobile web is growing 8 times faster than the Internet as a whole. Which makes Jessica Sanders’ look at what you need to know about mobile commerce all the more handy.
