6 Excellent Marketing Posts for a Chilly November Weekend: E-commerce Link Digest

IStock 000012803032XSmallI don’t know about you, but I’m fighting a miserable cold this week, Big Thinkers. But rather than bore you with my tale of woe, I plan to simply curl up with my iPhone and a big ol’ reading list this weekend. Here’s the list for your reading pleasure:

  1. Marketing Charts asks why do consumers go online?
  2. Business Insider has a great slide deck that explains how e-commerce is finally disrupting the massive $600 billion grocery industry.
  3. Thinks revealed the little-known factors behind e-commerce growth in 2015 while the latest episode of Thinks Out Loud looks at the biggest trends driving e-commerce.
  4. Search Engine Land uncovers Google’s bad, bad move, a test that drives users to Google Shopping, not advertisers’ sites. Bad news. Good read.
  5. Search Engine Land also explains how to win at SEO & content marketing in 2015.
  6. And, finally, Thinks asks, “Is Your Industry Immune to E-commerce Disruption? Um… No.” Well worth your time.
