Top Content in January
Once a month, I plan to showcase the top reads on my site, along with one or two that I think are worth checking out. For January, small business hosting and new opportunities for e-commerce signaled a trend. Here’s what you were reading this past month:
- By far the most read post in January provided a comparison of small business hosting services. It also inspired our new guide to small business e-commerce, which premiered this week asking why splash pages suck. The top post also inspired a widely-read follow up review, adding Jimdo to the comparison.
- Many folks also seemed interested to learn about the business value of Twitter.
- Another top read led to many of these posts, asking why small businesses are still invisible on the web.
- Finally, book reviews remain strong among the readership here. The review of Daniel Pink’s “A Whole New Mind” drew the fifth most traffic on the site, while the list of the best business books of the last ten years scored well, too.
Enjoy the list.
