- Do you make the same mistakes as Wal-mart and Seth Godin? – Sometimes the most important part of making a sale is asking for the sale.
- The 12 most important business books of the last ten years – Written in October, this still gained the third highest number of views (along with an excellent bounce rate) in late 2007.
- 4 ways to show value online – How to’s often prove popular. This was no exception.
- Everything is Miscellaneous – Book review of the week(-ish) – October was a great month for book reviews. This – my most negative review of the year – got tremendous traffic and sold some books. Just not “Everything is Miscellaneous”.
- How to find your calling – I don’t think of myself as an inspirational guy. Maybe I ought to.
- Four tips to help small businesses determine the right amount to spend on their website – Another “how-to” that did very well.
- Keep an eye on Tim Ferriss – I’m not all that fond of this one, but it got good traffic, bounce rate and time on site. So mayber you’re a better judge than me.
- Do what you love – Got tons of views in late 2006, plus, it’s got the lowest bounce rate of anything I’ve written
- Book Review of the Week-ish: Daniel Pink’s “A Whole New Mind” – What was it about October? The third review of the month to do really well.
Enjoy your week. And feel free to comment on reads you liked too.
