Don't be scared: A quick social and local round-up (Small Business E-commerce Link Digest – October 29, 2010)
I’m awfully busy this time of year getting my Halloween costume together, so this week I’ll spare you any horror stories and just get right to the links:
- This post from Mashable looks at how B2B is using social media marketing.
- While they’re at it, Mashable also has a strong post on 4 ways to improve Facebook ad performance.
- Search Engine Land offers up a review of Google’s new Place Search (which, mostly, is more of a search result change, but, still…) Clearly, Google’s move signals how much local search there is these days.
- While this post targets financial planners, primarily, anytime you can get Twitter founder Biz Stone talking about how to use social media for your business, it’s worth checking out. I particularly liked his JetBlue example as it’s something that just about any business can replicate.
There you have it folks. All treats. No tricks.
