The "I'm traveling and don't have much time this week" edition of Small Business E-commerce Link Digest – May 14, 2010
OK. Not a whole lot of setup this week. Right now, I’m enjoying the hospitality of a wonderful hotel in Dublin (the one in Ireland, I’m happy to say. I’ve already been to Dublin, OH and, so far, I like this one better). Unfortunately, international jet-setting leaves little time for deeds of derring-do here on the blog, so, this week, we’ll just get right to it:
- eMarketer takes a look at whether or not the click is still king. It’s an interesting look at how online – while better than older forms of media – still isn’t as good as advertised when it comes to measurement. Rather apropos given this week’s book review, eh?
- Mashable offers tips on how to make the most of your Twitter profile.
- Ad Age argues in favor of developing a style guide for your social media activities.
- Search Engine Land talks about 36 SEO myths that won’t die – but need to. Some of these (I’m looking at you, Flash), I’m not sure I agree with. But it’s a thought-provoking article all the same.
- And, finally, Biznology combines social and SEO with its description of how to use viral marketing to build links. Nice.
